STAFFORD, TX (KTRK) -- Emergency crews are outside a home in Stafford this morning where a minivan crashed into the front of the house.
The homeowner was not hurt in the crash, but the driver was transported via LifeFlight for injuries and is in serious condition at a nearby hospital. Authorities say it's unclear why the driver lost control.
That home is in the 600 block of Whitney Oaks Lane. Promenade at Hunters River was closed after the crash.
A relative of the homeowner tells abc13 she thought the home was being robbed after the minivan crashed through.
The homeowner's bed was located on the opposite side of the master bedroom from where the minivan drove inside.
