Police need your help in finding a group of thieves who burglarized a Lake Houston home this weekend.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A group of thieves who were up to no good were up very early Saturday morning in the Lakeshore subdivision near Lake Houston.

"They were up at 6:30am on a Saturday. They could get a job," laughed Megan Cawyer. Her husband Dustin had already left for work but she was home with their daughters, unaware that the dark colored Impala rolled up outside their home.

As seen in the surveillance video, the passenger casually does her hair while a man with a bandaged arm steals a chain saw and a rotary hammer from Dustin's pool company truck parked in the driveway.

"He's a firefighter and he owns the company so he's working two jobs and they steal from us and it's frustrating. It's hard to get ahead that way," she said.

The video shows the thieves taking off, only to pass by the home minutes later and then pass by again. Once they return, another man jumps out of the back to steal a power washer from the truck. As they are about to leave, he goes back once more to swipe the washer hoses and they finally leave with the trunk open, dragging a cord down the road.

The Cawyers live on a quiet, secluded street.

"The police said possibly the other suspect was walking the neighborhood kinda casing other cars or other homes," Megan explained.

They've shared this video across social media, hoping it will help investigators with Harris County Constable Precinct 4 track these people down.

"I hate thieves. I literally hate thieves. Just find them, get them in jail. Do something like that," Dustin said.
