VIDEO: Man flies off water slide in Austin

AUSTIN, TX -- A man was seriously hurt after he flew off a private water slide in Texas and fell 10 to 15 feet onto rocks down below.

David Salmon posted the video on Facebook and said he's currently in an Austin hospital with a broken arm, fractured ribs, and multiple lacerations on his back, arms, and side.

He did, however, find out he doesn't need surgery. So he will soon be able to travel back home to Dallas.
