THE WOODLANDS, TX (KTRK) --If you're a fan of football, and have an extra $8.5 million laying around, one home in The Woodlands stands out like no other.
One NFL superstar has his home up for sale, and if the price is right, it could be yours.
Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson has put up some impressive numbers on the field. Those record breaking numbers coincide with the impressive stats on the home he's selling.
"The home is 10,582 square feet. It's got 6-7 bedrooms, all suites. Eight full bathrooms, five half bathrooms, and sits on 8.9 acres in The Woodlands," realtor Candi Guilbeau said.
So what does $8.5 million get you? ABC13 got an exclusive tour by the listing agents of the Kink Team.
"When you first come into this property and come in through the grandeur gates, it feels like you're in a different place besides The Woodlands, or Houston even," realtor Diane Kink said. "You almost feel like you're on acreage in the middle of nowhere. You've come home, it's a really special place."
They say a kitchen can sell a home and they really don't get any bigger than this.
"There's three ovens, two warming drawers, two dishwashers, Sub-Zero refrigerator, two sinks and the biggest island I've ever seen," Guilbeau said.
When you pass through the master bedroom, you'll notice the grand closet space.
"The master downstairs that has two walk-in closets. One's for clothing, the other that's for shoes" Guilbeau said.
As you talk a walk upstairs, you'll come to the a man cave.
"It's got a full bar. It's got room for a pool table, poker table. It's got two bathrooms: One for guys, one for gals, and that's behind stained glass. Then it leads to the media room," Guilbeau said.
The media room has two levels with eight individual reclining leather theater-style seats. The screen is over 100 inches.
As you go out back, there are two outdoor kitchens to help entertain guests. One is equipped with all Minnesota Vikings appliances.
The other is poolside with a built-in wood-fired pizza oven.
This deep-water pool has a diving board, hot tub, built-in bar stools and an infinity edge with waterfall.
"There's no one that will ever build behind you, it's a reserve. You don't see your neighbors on either side, and walking trails and trampolines and play sets and everything," Guilbeau said.
"I think the buyer for this property is someone that enjoys privacy. Wants to be on acreage and have an estate lifestyle," Kink said.
