Girls Leading Our World Leadership and Travel Seminar

Details on a program called, "Girls Leading Our World Leadership and Travel Seminar." The organization hopes to expand the horizons of young girls by allowing them to travel internationally to Africa and Europe. The program is the idea of Carlisha Williams, founder and Executive Director of "Women Empowering Nations." She is joined in the interview by one of this year's travel participants, 14-year old Andrea Bob, who is traveling internationally for the first time.

Crossroads is an ABC-13 community affairs program focusing on issues, topics and people of relevance to Houston's African American community. The half-hour program is hosted by ABC-13 anchor Melanie Lawson and features studio interviews, as well as taped reports. The program is broadcast on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Sundays of the month and airs at noon.
