Teen charged in alleged murder of Houston restaurant owner

SOUTHWEST HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Charges have been filed against 17-year-old in the murder of Wahoo's Fish N Wings owner, Tri Minh Nguyen.

Nguyen, 36, was shot to death near his restaurant in the 12000 block of Fondren in southwest Houston back in March.

Owner fatally shot during SW Houston restaurant shooting

Police did not release the name of the juvenile who was arrested Monday on a capital murder charge. Since the suspect was 16 at the time of the shooting, police have referred him to the Harris County Juvenile Probation Department.

According to police, he was taken into custody without incident.
