Body of man found at SE Houston home

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Homicide investigators have arrived at a home where a body was found in southeast Houston.

The body of a man was discovered at the home on Dover Street near Duller.

Police say a little after midnight, a confrontation erupted in the front yard of that home, waking the family inside.

Shortly thereafter, the family found the body of a Hispanic man inside the doorway, covered in blood.

We do not yet know how the man died, but know this is a very active scene. Homicide investigators say the man has lived in the area for an extended time, but do not yet know how he was killed.
