Houston police say they need your help putting a robbery suspect behind bars

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A new surveillance video shows the dramatic moment when a man approached a resident at gunpoint outside his townhome in southwest Houston.

Houston police say the man then demanded the victim's wallet and car keys.

The incident happened around 4:20pm on June 7 at the complex on Leamont Drive near Beechnut Street. Police say the victim had just arrived home from the grocery store when the man pulled the gun on him in the parking lot of the complex.

The suspect got inside the victim's vehicle, and then left the area on foot.

Now HPD is asking for your help putting the robbery suspect behind bars.

The man is described only as a black male in his 20s or 30s, weight 170 to 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a distinctive multi-colored striped shirt, dark pants, and blue and white tennis shoes.
