Family friends hold vigil for woman found dead in her car.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Family and friends gathered to remember Jacinta Martin, a 31-year-old woman who was found dead inside a vehicle in north Harris County Tuesday.

"She was a good person," said one family member who came out Wednesday evening to remember Martin at a vigil near Cross Draw and March Creek, where the fatal shooting happened.

Martin, a mother of two who was about to graduate college, had been shot multiple times and authorities still don't know who is responsible.

A neighbor heard gunfire at a little after 12:30pm on Tuesday and called the sheriff's office. No one reported seeing who fired the shots.

When deputies arrived, they found Martin dead inside the car, which had its hazard lights on.

The vehicle was taken to a dry location to preserve any evidence.

No weapon was recovered.
