Police chase ends near I-10 East EB near Normandy

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A police chase has ended, going off the freeway on I-10 East eastbound near Normandy.

We've learned the chase began on 59 southbound near North Shepherd. The suspect's vehicle exited at North Shepherd and did a U-turn back onto 59 going northbound. The chase eventually shifted to I-10 eastbound and left the freeway at the Normandy exit where the suspect went into the neighborhood and the chase ended at St. Michel Drive. Police say they took a suspect into custody at 4:45am.
