Baseball team honors shooting victims with gun night
The Kalamazoo Growlers celebrated 'Second Amendment' night

BATTLE CREEK, MI (KTRK) -- A baseball team sought to honor six victims of gun violence by allowing fans to bring their firearms into the grandstand.

The Kalamazoo Growlers hosted 'Second Amendment Night' on Friday to remember six people killed during a shooting rampage allegedly carried out by an Uber driver in February.

The team also honored 14-year-old Abigail Kopf, who continues to recover from being shot in the head, WOOD-TV reports.

Attendees were encouraged to bring their guns to Brown Stadium in Battle Creek.

Guns could be seen throughout the stadium.

Officials said gun owners who participated were not allowed to buy beer.
