Young hero from Houston conquers eye cancer, helps others

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Oftentimes, the details of a serious disease completely shake up a family, but at times, these stories have happy endings.

Such is the case with Kingwood resident Henry Friddle, who is nearly finished with his battle with retinoblastoma. His parents, Michelle and Stewart Friddle, are relieved to be at the end of the story but are still reaching out to help others in a tough spot.

"This has all taken place within a few months. It's been a whirlwind experience," said Henry's father, Stewart Friddle.
