Viral video marks the end of cancer for local woman
THE WOODLANDS, TX (KTRK) -- A woman that shared a viral and heartwarming video about the end of her chemo treatment made another exciting video announcement. She's now cancer free. Shamira Williams is a mother, wife, and most of all, a survivor.
On June 8th, the Dekaney High School teacher received a late call from her doctor to hear that they didn't find anything on her pathology reports. Shamira has completed 15 rounds of chemotherapy and underwent a partial mastectomy and reconstruction last week.
"Does that mean I'm cancer free?" Williams asked. Her doctor answered that yes, she was officially cancer free.
