HOUSTON (KTRK) -- At the corner of Antoine and Pinemont, not many things stop traffic. But one HPD car sure made heads turn.

A the police cruiser, which was parked at the Jack in the Box, was tagged. In pink, the tagger sprayed the name of the presumptive Republican presidential nominee.

"This morning a customer came in and asked if we recognize someone had vandalized the vehicle, that they wrote on the back 'Trump,'" Jack in the Box employee Sonya Raleigh said.

The car is a regular site here. As part of HPD's ongoing crime deterrent efforts by the police department. Unfortunately, it's not the first time, it's become a crime target.

"We've been doing the program for over a year, and this is the second time someone's painted it," HPD Sgt. Frank Escobedo Jr. said.

The tagger didn't stop just at the police car. Two nearby buildings were hit with hot pink spray paint: "Trump is God."

"It's like they don't even care, they just vandalize people's product that they're not even paying for it," Raleigh said.

The tagging was quickly cleaned up by one business, and HPD will clean up the car then try to find the vandals.

But there's still a small silver lining in all of this: graffiti that's not X-rated.

"I'd rather see that than what's painted on last time. The last time it was sort of vulgar," Escobedo Jr. said.
