Man singing 'God Bless America' inside Walmart goes viral

WILMINGTON, NC (KTRK) -- A patriotic performance inside a Walmart is going viral. The video features a man singing "God Bless America."

Barbie Clancy was in the back of the store in Wilmington, North Carolina when she suddenly heard the man singing. She immediately turned on her phone to begin recording and followed his voice.

The man, dressed in an American flag t-shirt, belted out the patriotic song a cappella near the checkout lines and dozens of people stopped shopping to listen to him. Once he finished his performance, he received a big round of applause from delighted shoppers.

Clancy posted the video on her Facebook page during Memorial Day Weekend and it's easy to see why the video went viral.

The clip has been shared more than 2,400 times.

We don't know the name of the man singing, but several people left comments claiming to see the man around the neighborhood. Another woman, posted this video on Facebook showing the man singing inside a Golden Corral.
