HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Free Press Summer Festival is changing its location from Eleanor Tinsley Park to NRG Park.

Organizers announced today that due to the area floods the FPSF which takes place June 4 and 5 will be moved.

The 8th annual event was scheduled for next weekend at Eleanor Tinsley Park, but the park is too saturated by recent rains and floods.

"While we are disappointed to move the festival again this year, we have a solid plan in place for fans to have a great FPSF experience at NRG Park. The safety of our patrons, artists and staff, as well as the preservation of Eleanor Tinsley Park are of the highest priority to all involved," said festival co-founder, Jagi Katial.
