HOUSTON (KTRK) --A Houston police officer was hurt in a hit-and-run crash early this morning in Montrose.
Police say the officers ran their patrol car into a Dodge Charger after the driver ran a stop sign on Fairview Street near Montrose Boulevard around 2am.
The car took off after the crash, according to police, but other officers found the Charger nearby, rolled over onto its side after it crashed into a tree.
The driver and passenger ran off.
Police found the driver and arrested her. She's expected to be charged. The passenger got away on foot and hasn't been found.
One officer injured a hand. Neither the officer, nor the suspect were taken to the hospital.
