HOUSTON (KTRK) -- SkyEye was over the scene of a warehouse that was badly damaged during a four-alarm fire in Spring Branch.

Our cameras captured workers still hosing down some of the hot spots at the A-1 Custom Packaging on Spring Branch Drive at Laverne Street, near Long Point Road.

Raw video shows crews working to remove chemicals which drained into Spring Branch Creek.

On Thursday, a fire broke out at the business resulting in a series of dramatic explosions.

By day's end, concerns began to mount after a red liquid was found running throughout the Spring Branch Creek after the fire.

Nearby residents told Eyewitness News they were concerned about the environmental impact of the chemicals, especially on wildlife found along the creek.

The Houston Fire Department says two products of concern in the water include pesticides and petroleum additives.

HFD officials and environmental contractors were found throughout the Spring Branch area Friday, working to assess the damage and limit the spread of the contaminates.
