One injured when driver plows into SW Houston restaurant

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- There's a lot of cleaning up to do at a fast food restaurant in southwest Houston after someone drove right into it.

It happened at the Church's on Bissonnet at Wilcrest at around 1:45pm. We're told the driver mistakenly hit the gas instead of the brake and went right into the business.

One person inside the restaurant suffered an arm injury, according to police.

The restaurant's manager says they'll likely be closed the rest of the day. No word on the driver's condition.
