The BP MS 150 is a two-day fundraising bike ride with 13,000 riders organized by staff and volunteers from the National MS Society South Central Region and is the largest of 100 Bike MS events in the United States. The BP MS 150 has three official start locations in the Houston area on Saturday morning.
On Sunday morning, riders living with MS and Club 300 members start the ride first with the choice of two great routes into Austin. The Bechtel Challenge Route winds through the rolling terrain of Bastrop and Buescher State Parks while the Genzyme One-to-One Express Route bypasses the Parks. ABC13 sports reporter, David Nuno decided to try the "Challenge Route" which is filled with several hills.
