New world record set for human mattress dominoes

ATLANTA, GA (KTRK) -- You set 'em up, we'll knock 'em down!

That was the game plan for one company determined to break a Guinness world record for a very strange feat.

An Atlanta-area appliance chain broke the world record for human mattress dominoes. Guinness was on hand to verify the feat, as 1,200 humans on mattresses fell one by one.

They beat the previous world record, originally held by Germany. The whole thing was done in a 70,000 square-foot facility and took almost 14 minutes.
