Trying to eat healthy is difficult, and foods disguised as healthy items don't help you lose weight. So here's some foods you may want to look out for.
Skip frozen dinners. They are easy and convenient, but the also have lots of preservatives and sodium with very few vegetables.
Avoid salads at fast-food places. Toppings like croutons, nuts and dressings have lots of calories.
Do you like veggie chips? Too bad, they are cut thin and processed, which removes a lot of their nutritional value.
Skip the fruit cocktails because most are made with a sugary syrup.
Avoid bottled teas because most contain artificial flavorings.
Even "fat free" items like yogurt can have contain up to 15 grams of sugar.
The best advice is to always check the nutrition content and look for natural ingredients.
