Skip frozen dinners. They are easy and convenient, but the also have lots of preservatives and sodium with very few vegetables.

Avoid salads at fast-food places. Toppings like croutons, nuts and dressings have lots of calories.

Do you like veggie chips? Too bad, they are cut thin and processed, which removes a lot of their nutritional value.

Skip the fruit cocktails because most are made with a sugary syrup.

Avoid bottled teas because most contain artificial flavorings.

Even "fat free" items like yogurt can have contain up to 15 grams of sugar.
