Pizza delivery man may have been killed in road rage incident, police say
Homicide detectives are investigating after a deadly shooting in southwest Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Houston Police have identified the victim of a deadly shooting in far southwest Houston, as Paul Hillick, Jr.

Detectives say that Hillick, 55, worked for a Dominoes near Court Road & S. Post Oak. He had just made a delivery and was headed back to the store.

Neighbors reported that they heard gunshots and saw a vehicle crash in front of a house. They called 911, but remained inside their home.

Investigators say officers found Hillick inside his car, shoot several times and dead of an apparent gunshot wound.

Police say the undisclosed pizza restaurant reports they have not had a robbery in over a year.

Hillick's family describe him as an army veteran who worked at the dominoes for a few years and loved gardening. He had a good heart, lived with his mother and took care of her.
