Sex assault suspect picked up at Conroe home day care

CONROE, TX (KTRK) -- A Montgomery County man has been arrested, accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl multiple times last year.

Claude Allen Teal, 30, was living in a Conroe home that doubles as a daycare when he was arrested Friday.

Authorities say Teal has spent the past several years living with family friends in different homes around Montgomery County.

Last year, he was living at a home in the Woodlands with family friends when deputy constables say he began sexually assaulting their 13-year-old daughter in their home.

"The parents had absolutely no idea. Like pretty much every parent out there, it was like the worst nightmare come true," explained Precinct 3 Chief Deputy Matthew Rodrigue. "We're working with them to get justice for their daughter."

Teal has no criminal history, but investigators are no worried there could be more victims.

"Talk to your children, folks. If there's anything that may be suspicious at all or something doesn't add up, call us. If it's nothing, it's nothing, but if your child has been harmed or wronged, then we can act on it," Chief Deputy Rodrigue explained.
