HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Investigators are looking for a man they say opened fire outside of a crowded night club, shooting two people.

It happened outside of the Engine Room at Pease Street and La Branch Street in Downtown Houston.

Police want to know who is responsible for a violent shooting in downtown Houston

Police say the club kicked out a belligerent man around 2am. That's when he got a gun, drove-by and shot two people in the parking lot behind the club. One man was shot in the leg and a woman was shot in the arm. Both victims are expected to be okay.

There are three clubs that are all attached to one another at the corner of Pease and La Branch. Jet Lounge is right next door to the Engine Room, we talked to several of their employees Saturday morning.

"It was really scary actually. I just kept hearing things and everyone was freaking out," said Lauren, who works at Jet Lounge, a club next door to the Engine Room.

A manager at Jet Lounge said this is the first time this has happened outside of the Engine Room.

"We've been working together for about six months and they've never had an issue before so obviously there's a first time for everything," said Ammar Hasn, manager of Jet Lounge.

Police are looking for the driver. They do not have a good vehicle or suspect description at this time.
