Mustang driver dies after hitting tree in northeast Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A man is dead after he lost control of his Mustang convertible and struck a tree in the median of North Wayside in northeast Houston.

The passenger was hospitalized. There's no word on that person's condition.

North Wayside is blocked off at this time in both directions. Use Homestead instead.
