SWAT team arrests man involved in alleged assault in Baytown

BAYTOWN, TX (KTRK) -- A mobile home park was on edge for hours in Baytown after a man tried to stab his girlfriend then barricaded himself in a home.

Police say Seth Hawkins attacked his girlfriend last night. She kicked him between the legs and escaped.

The SWAT team was called out and surrounded a travel trailer at the Shady Oaks RV Park on Highway 146.

Hawkins talked with police for several hours before surrendering.

He's now charged with assault.
