Warrant roundup set to start this weekend
Warrant roundup set to start this weekend, Foti Kallergis reports.

HARRIS COUNTY (KTRK) -- Come bright and early in the morning, officers are set to knock on the doors of people who have active warrants.

"We always approach with caution," Harris County Precinct One Constable Alan Rosen said.

More than 30,000 Harris County residents have active warrants. Those add up to thousands of dollars in unpaid fines and penalties.

Officers will go door-to-door, even places of employment, to track down offenders. The sheriff's office is prepared to take offenders straight to jail.

"We want to get people off the street who are not taking care of their business," Rosen added.

Consider this your last warning.
