Person shot outside business in NW Harris Co.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A man who was walking along State Highway 249 was shot this morning by another man who pulled up beside him and fired at him at least twice.

Harris County investigators say it happened in the 13400 block of State Highway 249 near Bammel N. Houston.

The man who was shot was able to run to a Shipleys Donuts, get help and he is expected to be OK.

There's no word on the person's condition or whether anyone else was hurt.
