Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo kicks off at NRG

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo kicks off today at NRG Park. The 20-day event features daily performances, carnival rides, and agricultural experiences unlike anything else.

This evening, the Band Perry plans to rock NRG stadium following the rodeo competition.

Eyewitness News received a sneak peek this morning inside NRG Center where kids can interact with farm animals, witness newborn lambs, and even ride a pony.
