High winds causing problems for METROrail

A portion of the METROrail line has been shut down due to high winds

HOUSTON -- High winds have knocked out part of the METRO rail line near the Medical Center.

According to METRO, wires are down from Smithlands to Fannin Street. Buses are being sent to transport rail passengers.

Reporter Pooja Lodhia is on the scene and says there are dozens of people waiting to be transported.
