GOP presidential hopefuls compete for votes in Nevada caucus
Nevadans will now have their chance to pick their favorite Republican for president

Five candidates remain as Republicans compete for the support of voters in Nevada.

Nevadans will caucus today, registering support for Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, John Kasich and Ben Carson.

Polls show Trump with a lead, and is looking to win his third caucus or primary in the 2016 race.

Last night, Cruz received a standing ovation and earned big cheers by promising to put millions of acres of federal land in Nevada in the hands of the state.

Meanwhile in Las Vegas, Trump lashed out at Cruz, calling him "sick" and "a big liar." He was responding to Cruz's claims that Trump was against the idea of giving federal lands to Nevada.

Trump says it was a subject Cruz knows nothing about.

Marco Rubio told a rally audience that he feels bad for a former Cruz spokesperson who was asked to resign for spreading a false story that Rubio had criticized the Bible.

Rubio says Rick Tyler was simply the fall guy for a culture of dishonesty in the Ted Cruz campaign.
