Inside Walmart grocery pickup
Patricia Lopez tries out grocery pickup at Walmart

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- You want to save time, you want to save money -- where can I sign up!

Can you do both and never set foot in a grocery store? We tested out Walmart.com's new grocery pick up service.

New moms like Heather Rodriguez are sold on the new concept, Rodriguez says mainly because she has three kids and one that refuses to sit in a shopping cart.

This is how it works: You order groceries over at Walmart.com/grocery and start shopping.

Here, unlike HEB's curbside service, there isn't a fee, but there's a 30 dollar minimum purchase.

The website was fairly easy to navigate and finding specific items was also a breeze.

Simply check out, confirm and you pick the hour that's convenient for your grocery pick up. A clerk will call you when your order is ready during the designated time and you pull up to the pick-up location and a Walmart employee will arrive within a couple of minutes to load up your car.

The service is getting so popular, one clerk told us the specific pick-up times are getting scooped up quickly.
