Super Savings on TVs for the Super Bowl
HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The big game is this Sunday and if you are looking to buy a new TV, there are some big discounts.
At Best Buy, a 55" Toshiba led HDTV is normally $549.99, now on sale for $399.99.
If you are looking for a fancier TV with all the bells and whistle, Best Buy has this Samsung 65 incher for $1,999 -- that's $1,300 off.
Need something bigger? At www.walmart.com we found a 60 inch Hisense brand TV normally retails for $398 but on sale for a hundred bucks less.
If you are looking for a 4K TV, Walmart has one out with really great reviews. It's the LG Ultra HD Smart TV for $698, a savings of just over $200.
For some of the best deals, Amazon.com is offering up to 45 percent off on its TVS. Check out Samsung's curved 65-inch 4k Ultra HD Smart LED TV, it's the 2015 model but the savings are over $1,200!
For something more affordable, at Target, a Samsung 55" LED TV is 579.99, regularly $999.99.
When it comes to shopping for TVs, a 4K TV will give you the most crisp picture, 1080p is the standard, and if you see a TV labeled "Smart TV," well then you get some extras with that too, says Alan Rios with Best Buy. He says smart capabilities just means that the TV itself can connect to the Internet, and once you connect it to the Internet, it has built-in apps or you can download apps that you can use.
