Six found dead in Chicago home

CHICAGO, IL -- Six people were found dead Thursday afternoon in Chicago's southwest side Gage Park neighborhood.

The bodies were found during a well-being check in the 5700 block of South California around 1:30pm. Authorities say it is believed the victims were stabbed.

Police confirmed a homicide investigation is underway. The victims were four men, one woman and one child, a police source said.

Firefighters responded to the scene, but no one was transported, according to Fire Media Affairs.
