A man tried to drive away from police by ramming the squad car over and over again early this morning. Police now say that driver is 19-year-old Dion Woods.

It happened in southeast Houston at an adult bookstore called Talk of the Town on Gulf Freeway near Bellfort around 3am. ABC13 obtained exclusive video of the crazy scene. Watch it now below:

Officers say it all started as a drug deal that police happened to see as they were driving by. Police say the man who showed up to the drug deal with Woods for a drug deal was Justice Terrell Reed, 21.

Police say Woods was selling drugs to Michael Ramirez, a 34-year-old who came to the alleged drug deal in the red pick-up.

Investigators say the officer who was driving by tried to arrest Woods who was in a silver car and he tried to get away by driving forward and backward, eventually slamming into the patrol car that was parked behind him until realizing he couldn't get away. A huge hole is now bashed into the adult bookstore.

Police say after Woods realized he couldn't get away by car, he tried to get away on foot.

At one point, all three tried to run from police at separate times, according to police.

All three were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance. Only Woods was also charged with aggravated assault of an officer.

An officer on scene told Eyewitness News, "He got stuck on the curb at that point officers were finally able to get him where he couldn't get away. ... He then jumped away on foot and officers took him into custody."
