Body found in drainage ditch near Katy
HARRIS COUNTY, TX (KTRK) -- The Harris County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a body has been found in a drainage ditch near Katy.
The body was discovered around 7:30am near Fry Road in west Harris County.
Earlier, Eyewitness News was told there were two bodies, but that now appears to be incorrect.

Homicide investigators say the body was discovered by someone walking along the bayou just north of West Little York Road. The victim was found without pants, and their identity is not known.
Blood was reportedly found in the bayou, and detectives say the body shows signs of blunt trauma. The cause of death, however, is unknown.
Deputies say they recovered a baseball bat at the scene, but are not sure if it is related to their homicide investigation.
Several persons of interest are also sought by deputies.
Two other scenes were being processed for articles of interest.
