The Halal Guys comes to Houston
HOUSTON (KTRK) -- It's here. The Halal Guys will open their first location in Houston on Saturday, January 30th. The New York-based sensation expects a massive turnout at their grand opening.
For those of you who have never been to New York to get a taste of The Halal Guys, here's what makes the restaurant unique.
The menu is simple. The Halal Guys specializes in platters and sandwiches filled with chicken, gyro or falafel. The Halal Guys, also offer 2 famous sauces to diners. The white sauce, is what really sets Halal Guys apart from their competition. It's a seasoned yogurt-based sauce which tastes a little different from tzatziki. The red sauce is a mixture of chili and a Tabassco-style vinegar base. We're told, the red sauce packs a bit of a punch.
The Halal Guys will be located at 3821 Farnham,which is the location of the old Snap Kitchen. The Halal Guys are open Sunday - Thursday from 11am - 11pm. They are open Friday - Saturday from 11am - 2am.
