Botox burglar steals $20K worth of anti-wrinkle drug from Florida plastic surgeon

CORAL GABLES, FL (KTRK) -- A bold burglar in Coral Gables, Florida, was caught on surveillance video stealing thousands of dollars' worth of Botox from a plastic surgeon's office.

He was wearing a Santa hat and carried a crowbar when he broke in.

Dr. Jose Rodriguez-Feliz, of Miami Plastic Surgery MPS Medspa, said, "They came exactly knowing what they wanted. You know, we had iPhones, we had computers - none of those things were touched. You know, they came straight for the refrigerator where we have our Botox. ... What they stole has a pretty significant street value, which is concerning. People who usually do this, do this to sell it to the public -- to give it to people who aren't even trained to inject."

More than $20,000 worth of Botox was stolen from the surgeon's office.

Coral Gables police are asking the public to contact them with any information in the case.
