MAHWAH, NJ -- Young children discovered the body of a woman in the snow in Mahwah.

The horrific discovery happened around 3 p.m. as the children were getting off the school bus. The children, who are said to possibly be in middle school, noticed a winter coat peeking out of the snow in their neighbor's driveway.

The children then knocked on the woman's door, but there was no answer. As they were leaving, officials tell Eyewitness News that the children went to look closer at the coat. Upon closer inspection they realized to their horror that the neighbor was still in her coat.

The neighbor was pronounced dead. She is identified as 64-yerar-old Mary Wall from Mahwah.

Investigators say Wall was shoveling her driveway on Saturday like everyone else, except she collapsed and was buried in the blizzard.
