Blizzard forces last minute changes for Virginia couple's wedding
A potentially historic snow storm forced Matt and Ryan Silver to wed earlier than expected.

ASHBURN, VA (KTRK) -- If the secret to a lasting marriage is flexibility and a willingness to compromise, a Virginia couple are starting out on the right foot.

In the midst of the snow emergency on the East Coast, one couple is feeling warm and fuzzy in the midst of the bitter cold.

Matt and Ryan Silver were married at a local winery ahead of schedule because of the blizzard.

"We were originally getting married on Sunday," Matt Silver says. "And the venue told us, 'You should do it tomorrow 'cause if not, we make no guarantees.' So, last minute wedding came together pretty well."

The happy couple, still in their wedding clothes, will make camp in Ashburn for a couple of days.

They showed how humor is an essential ingredient of married bliss.

"It was kind of like either we get married this weekend, or we wait a really long time for it to happen," says bride Ryan. "So we're like, 'Might as well, why not?' Most of our friends and family were pretty local and it was a small wedding anyways."

Sending our very best to the bride and groom.
