Police seek persons of interest connected to Sugar Land robbery
Two men captured by surveillance camera are considered persons of interest in a Sugar Land robbery, police say.

SUGAR LAND, TX (KTRK) -- Police say they need your help finding two men caught on camera as they robbed a convenience store in Sugar Land.

Investigators say it happened just after 9pm on January 6 at the Food Express store on Bournewood Drive at Eldridge Road.

Surveillance footage just released by police shows two armed Hispanic men wearing masks and hoodies as they make way into the store, where police say they took merchandise and cash from the register.

Police have also released surveillance footage of two men they say are persons of interest in the case.

Investigators also say the men robbed five customers as they walked into the store. Surveillance video purportedly shows several of these victims as they are confronted at gunpoint and taken to the back of the store.

Police say the entire incident lasted 12 minutes before the men took off.

The two men who are considers persons of interest arrived in separate vehicles just before 3pm, one in a white Ford Crown Victoria and the other in a small four-door passenger vehicle.
