Big rig wreck shut down Southwest Freeway for two hours in Stafford

STAFFORD, TX (KTRK) -- Southbound Highway 59 was shut down for two hours Tuesday morning after a 18-wheeler went sideways, blocking all lanes of traffic.

A father and son who work for a painting company said they were driving down Highway 59 around 8:15 when a vehicle hit their van. The son said he believes the same vehicle also hit the semi.

The son said he, his father and the semi driver are all okay. They are really shaken up.

Stafford Police say it was an injury accident. No word on who was hurt.
