VIDEO: Hurricane Alex seen from space ahead of ISS space walk

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Two space station astronauts are gearing up for full day of space walking, but before they headed out this morning, they shared stunning live images of Hurricane Alex forming in the Atlantic Ocean.

Astronauts Tim Peake and Tim Kopra have to fix a broken piece of equipment on the outside of the International Space Station. Their walk is expected to last six-and-a-half hours today.

This will be Kopra's third spacewalk and Peake's first.
