Cookie Dragged
We are excited to announce Cookie, the puppy dragged, jerked, and thrown by her previous owner (and caught on video), has started the next chapter of her journey.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The Houston Humane Society announced Thursday that Cookie, the puppy caught on camera being dragged by her previous owner, is up for adoption.

The HHS said in a Facebook post that the dog was spayed and got her shots. She is up for adoption through Adore Houston. You can apply here to adopt.

HHS wrote in the post, "It was sad to say goodbye after she won all of our hearts, but we know Adore will find her the perfect, fantastic home. In the meantime, she's with one of their very best fosters."

The 9-week-old dog was taken from Tara Dycus, a northwest Houston woman who was caught on camera with the dog.

Dycus told abc13 that she didn't mean to endanger Cookie.
