Police: Gunmen shoot robbery victim at Sonic Drive-In in E. Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Police say they are looking for a pair of robbers who shot a man at a restaurant drive thru in east Houston.

It happened just before 11pm at the Sonic restaurant on Federal Road at Market Street.

Officers say two gunmen walked up to a car and robbed the men inside.

Then, one of the gunmen shot one of the robbery victims in the leg. He is expected to survive his injuries.
