Killer sought after stabbing at northwest Houston METRO stop

A man is dead after he was stabbed at a northwest Houston METRO stop last night (KTRK)

Police are looking for a man who stabbed another man to death late last night at a METRO bus stop in northwest Houston.

It happened at the corner of Gessner and Hammerly around 9pm.

Police say Frederick Williams, 53, of Houston, and the suspect began arguing. During the argument, the suspect produced a knife and stabbed Williams. The suspect then fled on foot westbound on Hammerly.

Police say a bystander found Williams on the ground and soon realized he had been stabbed.

The bystander saw the attacker running away and throwing a knife into the bushes.

Police recovered the knife.

The suspect was seen going into a nearby townhouse complex.

So far no arrests have been made.

The suspect is described only as a Hispanic male with long black hair. He was last seen wearing a black hoody and blue jeans.
