Robbery victim shot in SW Houston
Police want to know who is responsible for a shooting that injured a man in southwest Houston.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Police say they are looking for two men who robbed a man at gunpoint and then shot him in southwest Houston.

It all happened before 11pm in the parking lot of the Sterling Point Apartments at Hillcroft Street at Clarewood Drive.

Officers say the victim was approached by two men armed with pistols. The robbers told the victim to give up his wallet and his cellphone. Investigators say for some unknown reason, one of the robbers then shot the victim in his abdomen.

Both men fled the scene and have not been identified.

The victim was transported to Ben Taub Hospital. He is expected to recover from his injuries.
