HARRIS COUNTY (KTRK) -- Authorities continue to investigate a robbery at the La Michoacana Meat Market in northwest Harris County.

This is at least the 11th La Michoacana armed robbery in the Harris County area in just the last month. The suspects have managed to leave each time with large amounts of cash from the check cashing business inside.

Investigators say the suspects went inside the store with guns drawn and pistol whipped a woman.

"I mean, they just hit me. That's it. They just told me to get down and that's it," said Janie Rodriguez, who works as a cashier at the meat market.

They were able to get away with thousands of dollars. Just weeks ago, this same store was robbed. At that time, no one was injured.

Hilario Hernandez says his wife, who works at the check cashing business, called him during the robbery and said "they were back."

"She said they told her to open the door, she went inside, put her on the floor and with the gun to her head demanded the money," Hernandez said. "That's it."

The suspects got away in an emerald color Dodge Durango wearing camo jackets, according to police.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
