Police: Man found chained inside N. Houston house had been there for days

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Two people are facing charges after authorities found a man chained inside a home in north Houston.

Officials were called Saturday to a home in the 6800 block of Winston Street. They looked through the window and saw the chained 53-year-old man. Police entered the home, freed the man then detained everyone for questioning.

Through an investigation, detectives learned the ordeal may have started several days earlier -- on Tuesday -- as a result of a dispute over money.

Two people from inside the house now face charges. Lakiska Brown, 36, is charged with aggravated kidnapping. LaJuan Joseph Wright, 42, also is charged with aggravated kidnapping, as well as possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and felony possession of a weapon.
